Happy Holidays from Mary’s Path!

We are looking forward to gathering once again with family and friends during this holiday season, celebrating traditions handed down from our parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, and many generations before us. At Mary’s Path, these traditions have special meaning, as sharing them is often the first time a new teen mom can truly celebrate and experience the joy of the holidays. It is also a chance for each new mom to create her own traditions or pass along memories of her family’s special customs to her new baby.

This year has had its share of challenges. Mary’s Path has continued to serve teen moms and babies at a record pace. The need has continued to grow, and we have reached capacity again for the third time this year. Inflation continues to stretch our budgets, particularly for food and baby supplies. We are in need of an additional car due to the growth in our aftercare program. More than ever, your generous donations are crucial. Your support of our Christmas Campaign will make the difference in what services can be made available for the teen moms in our care.

There really are no words for what this generous challenge from the Dirk Family mean’s to Mary’s Path. A gift to Mary’s Path will change two lives at a time by helping a teen mom:

• Provide a safe and nurturing space for herself and her baby
• Complete high school at Mary’s Academy
• Provide childcare onsite while mom attends school or work
• Provide parenting classes for mom and early childhood education for baby
• Enroll in college
• Get her first job
